Redmond may have a small town feel, but there is nothing small about the quality of live entertainment that performs here every year as part of the Redmond Community Concert Association (RCCA). Now in their 30th season, RCCA is an important part of the arts and cultural scene, bringing world class performances and music to Redmond and the Central Oregon community. RCCA’s mission is to bring quality live entertainment at an affordable cost to the Central Oregon audience and to provide artistic outreach to students in the Redmond School District.

With three decades of experience in bringing top notch entertainment to Central Oregon, each season continues to develop and capture the hearts and minds of those in attendance. Performances range in as wide a scope as the interests and diversity of the region and RCCA continues to draw in talent from around the globe. Sultry vocals, modern dance, flamenco guitars and Russian pianists, are just some of the artist that ensure you’ll be amazed, thoroughly entertained and ever so thankful to have been immersed in a RCCA performance.

All concerts are held in the new state-of-the-art, Raven Theater for Performing Arts. Part of the $65 million Ridgeview High School, the venue has been regarded as the newest and most technologically advanced theater and concert hall east of the Cascades and includes some of the most advanced acoustics in the Northwest. An all-volunteer board of directors ensures RCCA presents five outstanding programs per season at a remarkably low rate and the generous support of countless volunteers, patron sponsors and advertisers enrich the community through this infusion of art and culture.

Recognizing that most music programs have been cut from the public school curriculums, RCCA follows its mission and brings the performances to the youth of the community. RCCA’s “Outreach Program” connects with the Redmond schools, providing music enrichment opportunities on Mondays following most concerts.

The Redmond Community Concert Association’s tickets are sold by the season. All five concerts are $60 for adults, $25 for Students under 18, and $125 for families with children at home. Concerts take place at the Ridgeview High School’s Theater for the Performing Arts located at 4555 SW Elkhorn Avenue, and Canal Boulevard. Performances are held on Sunday’s at both 2:00 pm and 6:30 pm. RCCA will open its 2013-14 subscription campaign in April.
