Each year the City of Redmond's Mayor George Endicott delivers a State of the City address that looks back on the past year's accomplishments and looks forward to the goals and opportunities ahead.  The State of the City Address is also an opportunity for Mayor George Endicott to update the community on the progress and projects we can expect to see in the future.

We are very excited to announce that Mayor George Endicott will be giving his State of the City Address at the 19th Annual C.O. Business Expo and Job Fair, sponsored by U.S. Bank and organized by the Redmond Chamber of Commerce & CVB.  This will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at the Deschutes Fair & Expo Center in the Middle Sister.  Open to the public, luncheon is $17 per person and reservations are required. Check-in begins at 11:30 a.m., Mayor Endicott will begin his presentation at 12:00 p.m.

This year’s presentation will highlight the City’s financial stewardship, AAA bond rating, and the numerous annual awards for financial reporting as one of the keys to the City’s continued success.  The Mayor will also review the diverse services provided to more than 27,000 residents by strong City departments working together to meet the high demands of our growing community. In addition, he will discuss current and upcoming projects ranging from infrastructure, parks, and public safety to long-range planning efforts and the City’s preparation for the influx of visitors expected for August’s solar eclipse.
